The Port of Washington Yacht Club (POWYC) was formed in 2002 to promote safe boating; effect a clean, attractive and environmentally healthy marina, waterfront, and river system; organize cruising events; and sponsor social events for the benefit of all yacht club members. POWYC's mission is to promote clean river and boating safety initiatives among our many friends along the Potomac River, its tributaries, and the Chesapeake Bay.
