History

The Halloween Yacht Club has been a vital part of the Stamford community since 1926. We have been in the same spot since our inception 86 years ago. Today we have more than 300 active members and their families. Our aim is to promote boating, seamanship, friendship, sportsmanship, boating education, environmental conservation, and related recreational activities for maximum enjoyment and modest expense. We are a self-help community. Membership is open to all and there is no waiting list.
