History

The Moorings Yacht Club was founded in 1992 as the Moorings Yacht Squadron. In 2000 the name was changed to The Moorings Yacht Club (MYC) and the Club was accepted into membership in the prestigious Florida Council of Yacht Clubs (FCYC). The Moorings Club holds the membership in the FCYC, meaning that all Moorings Club members have reciprocity with other council yacht clubs.
